PLANNING TO VOTE IS A plan to succeed

When heading to the polls, be sure to bring one of the following valid forms of photo ID:

-Driver’s license

-Louisiana Special ID

-LA Wallet digital driver’s license

-U.S. military ID with name and photo

-Any other generally recognized photo ID with your name and signature

No ID? No problem! You can still vote by signing a voter affidavit at the polling place.

Need a free Louisiana Special ID? Visit the Office of Motor Vehicles with your voter information card. If misplaced, request a new one from your registrar of voters or print it from the Louisiana Voter Portal under “Search by Voter.”
