    • Be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

    • Be at least 18 years old.

    • Use your own personal funds (not funds provided by another person or entity).

    • Ensure you are not a federal contractor.

    • Make the contribution with a personal credit card, not a corporate or business card.

  • No, contributions or gifts to the campaign are not tax-deductible.

    • Individuals, businesses, and political committees may contribute up to $6,000 per election.

    • Primary and runoff elections are treated as separate elections.

    • Contributions from a family member’s business entities cannot exceed $6,000 per election unless the entities are independent and distinct.

    • Contributions over $20.00 will be documented and reported to the Louisiana Board of Ethics in compliance with state law.

  • Yes. Contributions:

    • From foreign nationals are strictly prohibited.

    • Made on behalf of another individual or entity are not allowed.

    • Exceeding legal limits or non-compliant contributions will be refunded.

  • Federal law requires the collection and reporting of your:

    • Name

    • Address

    • Occupation

    • Employer
